Founded in 1999, Conestoga Youth Lacrosse (CYLAX) is an organization devoted to promoting educational, recreational and competitive lacrosse activities for elementary & middle school boys in Southeastern Pennsylvania. The CYLAX program is designed to introduce boys to the game of lacrosse and to help each boy learn to play the game, and develop lacrosse skills, while playing with and against boys of the same ability. Our priorities are to provide “playing time” for each boy, enjoyment of the game, and to teach fundamentals of the game and sportsmanship, while continuously developing.
CYLAX is a primarily developmental league open to residents of the Tredyffrin / Easttown School District. As players move up through the various age-based divisions, the focus begins to shift from strictly development and begins to balance with competitive results (winning).
Practices begin in early March. Games are scheduled for early April through early June.
